Preparation & countdown

Today I went shopping for waterproof, warm boots for everyday wear in Edinburgh. The weather lately has been in the mid-40s and drizzly, and should continue to be like that during the majority of my stay there. Hopefully the spring will be nice, like it was in London in 2004.

Anyway the boots I got are these:

I got them in black because my coat is black, but the chocolate ones were soooo tempting. They're warm, work over or under jeans, and are waterproof. So excited!

I also made appointments with every doctor ever (I forgot some, admittedly, and need to call more tomorrow to be sure I see my allergist) to make sure all my Rxs are up to date.

I watched "Visions of Scotland," which my mom sweetly TiVo'd for me. The country is so pretty. I cannot wait to get there!
